Terms of use
Last updated: 14 May 2026
These terms apply to your use of mrchrisschulz.com. They are deliberately short. By using the website you agree to them.
About this website
This site is published by Mr Christopher Schulz, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon (GMC reference 7148806). Its purpose is to describe Mr Schulz’s NHS and private practice, the procedures he offers and the locations from which he works, and to provide a route to enquire about an appointment.
Information is not medical advice
The information on this website is provided for general guidance only. It does not constitute medical advice for any individual and is not a substitute for a consultation with an appropriately qualified clinician. Do not rely on it to make decisions about your own care without first speaking to a doctor.
If your problem is urgent, call NHS 111, attend your local eye casualty service, or call 999 for life-threatening emergencies.
We try to keep the content accurate and up to date, but make no warranty that it is complete, current or free from error. References to outcomes, recovery times or fees are illustrative and do not form part of any contract.
Using the enquiry form
The enquiry form is provided as a convenience for arranging consultations. Please do not send sensitive clinical details, medical history, images or any information you would not be comfortable sending by ordinary email through it. If your enquiry is clinical in nature, we will arrange a secure means of continuing the conversation.
How submissions are processed is set out in our privacy policy.
Appointments, fees and care
- NHS care is provided through Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and is governed by the Trust’s own terms and patient information.
- Private consultations and procedures are arranged individually. Fees, scope and any cancellation terms are confirmed in writing at the time of booking, separately from this website. Hospital and anaesthetic fees are billed separately by the hospital.
- Nothing on this website itself constitutes an offer to provide treatment or a binding quotation.
Links to other sites
Where we link to external sites — for example NHS pages, ORCID, professional bodies or publications — we do so for your convenience. We have no control over those sites and accept no responsibility for their content or for any consequence of relying on them.
Intellectual property
The text, images, page designs and brand marks on this website are the property of Mr Christopher Schulz unless otherwise indicated, and are made available for personal, non-commercial reference. Please do not reproduce them elsewhere without permission.
Complaints and regulation
Mr Schulz is regulated by the General Medical Council (www.gmc-uk.org). Concerns about his clinical practice should be raised first with the practice directly (so that we have a chance to put things right), with the relevant hospital’s PALS or complaints team, and ultimately with the GMC if necessary.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when they were last revised.
